ABOUT KIRBY
Kirby Myers is an international aerialist, physical artist, and self-described human praying mantis.
Coming from a background in dance and performance, Kirby spent her childhood moving before completing a BA in Communications (Theatre/Media) at Charles Sturt University, where she fell in love with circus and physical theatre.
Known for her long limbs and distinctive stage presence, Kirby performs a captivating blend of elegant and eclectic acts. Her work has been featured extensively at festivals, launches, corporate events and touring productions, as well as in theatre and film.
Kirby has performed with a number of renowned performance companies including Cirque du Soleil, Strut & Fret and Cirque Éloize.
She has performed around the world across Australia, Canada, Asia, the Middle East and Europe, including a world tour with TORUK: The First Flight. Most recently, Kirby has toured with Strut & Fret throughout Australia and New Zealand in The Purple Rabbit, Blanc de Blanc Uncorked and The Party. Kirby developed the magician assistant & puppeteer role for Mantacore the tiger in Siegfried & Roy: The Unofficial Opera the Premiered at Sydney THeatre Company as part of Sydney festival.
She currently appears as “Pixie” — everyone’s favourite manic pixie dream girl — the comic host, aerialist and mentalist at Dracula’s Cabaret.
